What We Do

In addition to our core community adventure playground offer, we provide other exciting activities for children and young people

SEND Project at Hornimans Adventure Playground

🌻 Inclusive Play for All 🌻
We continue to expand our inclusive community play activities at Hornimans Adventure Playground, specifically designed for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Meet Our SEND Project Worker

Our dedicated SEND Project Worker leads these sessions, ensuring that our play programmes are inclusive and supportive. They work to enhance our ability to include children with SEND by providing the necessary resources and support within our main-stream play activities.

Share Your Feedback

As this project is still relatively new, your feedback is crucial to us. We encourage you to share your experiences, suggest improvements, and complete evaluation forms during the sessions. Together, we can make Hornimans Adventure Playground a welcoming space for all children and young people.

HAF – The Holiday Activities and Food Programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is a Department for Education (DfE) funded initiative that provides free activities and meals for children aged 5 to 15 who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) during the Easter, Summer, and Christmas holidays.
Hornimans Adventure Playground offers a HAF Programme, providing a variety of fun and enriching activities for local children and young people aged 4 – 13 years throughout the school holidays. Nutritious meals are also provided to attendees each day.
