Community Adventure Play in North Kensington

Hornimans is a community adventure playground in North Kensington for children and young people aged 5–15. We provide a safe, supervised and inclusive space where children can play freely, make friends, eat, take part in activities and develop new skills — all free of charge.
Our playground offers a wide range of fun, creative and active opportunities, from outdoor adventure play to confidence-building activities that support personal development. With a dedicated team of trained staff, we make sure every child feels welcome, supported and able to thrive.

Our mission is to promote the happiness and wellbeing of children and young people through inclusive, engaging, and enriching community adventure play experiences.

Community Adventure Play

Hornimans Adventure Playground offers out- of-school play activities for children and young people aged 5-15 years. We are based in Golborne and serve the Golborne and surrounding community. We run play programmes and activities that are relevant and impactful, providing a safe and nurturing environment for everyone.

Goats

Come and meet our two friendly pygmy goats, Barry and Larry, who have been beloved residents at Hornimans for many years. They’re always happy to greet visitors with their playful personalities!

Staff

Staff – Our experienced team at Hornimans is highly trained and qualified in Playwork. They supervise and deliver a wide range of engaging activities for children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment during their time with us. We look forward to welcoming you!
